How to roast garlic

May 14, 2012

There is nothing like the taste of sweet, smoky roasted garlic. The nice thing is that it is super easy to do.

Take a bulb of garlic.

Peel off most of the outer skin and cut off the tops.

Place in a muffin tin.

Cover garlic in olive oil.

Cut some aluminum foil into small pieces.

Cover garlic with foil. Place in a 375 degree oven for ~40 minutes.

Just out of the oven.

That is it. It is very easy to do and there are so many possibilities with roasted garlic. I think I see a roasted garlic homemade dressing in my near future.
