happy thanksgiving and a tip!

Hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving. 

Last year's turkey!
And for a turkey-cooking tip. Cook the bird upside-down for the first hour and then flip it. The breast meat tends to be drier, so this helps it stay juicy.

  1. I did this yesterday. Kind of a pain to flip it, but fortunately we only had a 12 pound bird, so it wasn't too bad. Hope you guys enjoyed the holiday!

    1. I remember it was a pain, but it made the bird so juicy. I think when I did it the bird weighed about 20 pounds!
