It's almost the end of 2020. This year was such the blur. There are a lot of things I can say about this year, but for now I just want to appreciate my word of the year for 2020 which was ordinary.
I thought it was such a silly word to have as a word of the year. I wasn't even planning on doing a word anymore and then the word ordinary just came to me and I liked it and gave in.
It was before the pandemic and all the craziness of this year. A word that seems too blah, too boring, too basic actually was perfect for this year.
Being ordinary and appreciating all the little ordinary things really is what life is about. My favorite quote...from Pam from The Office...
