This is my new hashtag this year. My theme. Although it is not my "word of the year" it came close to winning that title.
After reading the book The One Thing, I realized that I am constantly trying to do too many things and it is not serving me. I end up doing things half-assed instead of well. I spread myself thin and then the overwhelm sets in.
In the book, he talks about the important of doing less, saying no, and NOT multitasking. His book really really spoke to me and I have been on a quest to implement those ideas.
So how do I do less, better?
I buy less clothes, but better.
I buy less cleaning products, but better.
I buy less makeup, but better.
I buy less food, but better.
I plan for less meal variety, but better recipes.
I take on less tasks, but then do those tasks better.
I manage less social media accounts, but am more present on the ones I do choose.
I do less events, but put more time and energy into them.
I am sure there are other things I could list, but these were the ones that I thought of off the top of my head.
