Slow living means having the time to dedicate to subjects that fascinate you.
I don't know about you, but I love learning. I have always been curious and I love taking in new information.
I remember when I was going to school for Nutrition. I could not wait to be done. I could not wait to impart the knowledge I had learned into practice. I wanted to help people eat better, feel better and live better and I thought once i got that degree I could do that.
But along the way, without even putting in much effort, I kept learning. I still gravitated towards nutrition books and articles. I questioned my current knowledge as I continued to gain more.
Even now 10+ (cough cough) years later, I am still seeking out new information to share with others. Lately, I have been drawn to traditional chinese medicine nutrition. I find it fascinating. It is much different than what I have learned and what i have been learning about. I love the fact that it is very in tune with nature. I love how it talks about energy. I love how some of the concepts are a bit more abstract.
And because I am creating a life of slow, simple living, I can afford some time to dedicate to that.
If you are constantly feeling rushed with never enough time to get it all done, consider doing less.
Are you craving a more simple life?
On instagram I am creating a community to inspire your #wellbeing through #simpleliving #slowliving & #zerowasteliving.
